FromSoftware’sElden Ringlaunched on June 13, 2025, meaning the critically-acclaimed open world game is fast approaching its one-year anniversary, and Bandai Namco is celebrating the occasion with a special event.Elden Ringdominated gaming for much of 2022, breaking sales records for FromSoftware, taking home multiple Game of the Year awards, and finishing the year as the top-rated new game release.Elden Ring’s unprecedented successhas created a whole new generation of FromSoftware fans, and many are excited to see what’s next from the game. It’s been teased that moreElden Ringcontent is on the way, either through free updates or more expansive DLC, but nothing official has been announced at the time of this writing. It’s possible an announcement will come later this month to coincide withElden Ring’s one-year anniversary, but fans shouldn’t hold their breath about it happening at the anniversary event.RELATED:Elden Ring Stats Reveal Game’s Most Popular EndingTaking place on February 25 in Stockholm at the Red Bull Gaming Sphere, theElden Ringanniversary celebration will be live-streamed on Twitch. It will feature a live show, giveaways, contests, prizes, a “pub quiz,” drinks, cosplay, and the chance to battle it out inElden Ring’s PvP. So far, the event is only being advertised by the Bandai Namco Nordics Twitter account, with no mention on the officialElden Ringaccount or the Bandai Namco US account. Considering this, fans shouldn’t tune in expecting any majorElden Ringannouncements.

That doesn’t mean anElden RingDLC reveal can’t happen at the event, it’s just unlikely. As it stands, there are persistent rumors that FromSoftware is preparing asizableElden Ringexpansion, but with it being a full year since the game first released, it’s surprising that an official reveal still hasn’t happened. If theElden RingDLC exists and does come out this year as many fans are hoping, it could be an especially big year for FromSoftware.

While theElden RingDLC may or may not exist, fans do know that FromSoftware is in the midst of developingArmored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon.Armored Core 6is not expected to be a Soulslike game, so it’s definitely a gamble on FromSoftware’s part, but it will be interesting to see if it pays off.
